Pea Attention Returns to Demand
PANAMA - Oct 2/16 - SNS -- Canada's field pea harvest was stalled by wet weather in the remaining areas.
However, the harvest is almost complete, with the result markets and deliveries by growers were unaffected by those delays.
Attention is more focussed on long term market fundamentals, especially prospects for India's rabi season pulse crop.
There is considerable optimism in India that production will be up significantly over last year, suggesting that demand will be much weaker during 2017 than has been the case this calendar year.
