United States Grower Bean Index Review

VANCOUVER - Sep 3/16 - STAT -- The grower price index for dry edible beans grown in the United States at the close of the 2015-16 marketing year falling 12% below the recent three year average.

For the season just ended, the Bean Index was 1088 points, compared to an annual average of 1240 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.

Analysis of the monthly pattern reveals the highest monthly average index level was 1163 points in September, while the lowest monthly average level was 1047 points in August.
