Bulk Lentil Shipments Dead in July
WINNIPEG - Aug 23/16 - SNS -- The Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) reports 400 metric tons (MT) lentils were loaded for export through licensed facilities which are required to report to it all grain movement in July.
The CGC reports 700 MT were shipped the same month last year, while movement is down sharply from the 30,000 MT shipped the previous month.
This lifted bulk loadings for the marketing year to 631,800 MT, compared to 514,400 MT during the same period last season.
