VANCOUVER - Aug 1/16 - STAT -- Canadian Eston Lentil markets finished the 2015-16 marketing year with prices rocketing 32% above the recent three year average annual price on inter-dealer markets in that country.
The average trading level for Eston Lentil was USD$46.89 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual market value of $35.56 during the previous three year period for machine dressed merchandise packed in bags delivered to Montreal.
Analysis of the monthly price pattern reveals the highest monthly average was $56.60 per cwt in May, while the lowest monthly average trading level was $36.40 per cwt in August.
