Canadian Special Crop Index Review
VANCOUVER - Aug 1/16 - STAT -- Canada's speciallty crop crop dealer price index finished the 2015-16 marketing year leaping 13% above the recent three year average.
For the season just ended, the Special Crop Index was 211 points, compared to an annual average of 187 during the previous three year period for dry edible bean classes included in the index calculation.
Analysis of the monthly price pattern reveals the highest monthly average was 246 points in May, while the lowest monthly average trading level was 179 points in October.
