Maple Pea Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 1/16 - STAT -- Canadian Maple Pea markets finished the 2015-16 marketing year with prices offered to growers creeping 1% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Maple Pea was CDN$370.08 per metric ton (MT), compared to an average annual bid of $365.31 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $445.51 per MT in June, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $312.32 per MT in December.
