Feed Pea Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 1/16 - STAT -- Canadian Feed Pea markets finished the 2015-16 marketing year with prices offered to growers advancing 9% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Feed Pea was CDN$221.06 per metric ton (MT), compared to an average annual bid of $203.55 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $242.51 per MT in March, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $178.21 per MT in October.
