Weather Situation A high pressure system over southeastern Australia is very slowly moving east and as an associated ridge over New South Wales weaken, a cold front will cross the state during Thursday and Friday. Forecast for the rest of TuesdayMostly clear. South to southwesterly winds, tending fresh over the northern half of coast.Wednesday 29 JuneSlight chance of showers on the southern Alps with snow above 1400 metres. Morning frost about the slopes and ranges. Mostly sunny elsewhere. South to southwesterly winds near the coast, light winds inland tending northerly in the west.Thursday 30 JuneMedium chance chance of showers in the southern inland half increasing to high chance on the western slopes of the southern ranges. Snow showers above 1200 metres about the Alps. Partly cloudy elsewhere. West to northwesterly winds.Friday 1 JulyMedium to high chance of showers on the southern and central slopes and ranges with snow showers above 1000 metres. Partly cloudy elsewhere.
