Chickpea Market Maintain Firm Tone
PANAMA - Jun 17/16 - SNS -- International chickpea markets maintained their firm tone through the last week as supplies available from exporters remain behind the short term needs of importers.
This continues to support kabuli chickpeas, with strength in large caliber markets influencing trading levels for smaller sizes.
Desi chickpea markets also finished the week on a strong note, with Australia selling last year's harvest at the fastest pace in the history of the crop.
