French Pea Sales Soar in April
PARIS - Jun 9/16 - SNS -- Field pea exports from France soared in April against continued movement to the Indian subcontinent, according to data compiled by Terres Univia.
Export shipments during the month totalled 42,165 metric tons (MT), more than triple the 13,605 MT shipped the previous month, and double the 20,509 MT shipped the same month last year.
This kept season to date shipments well above last season, with clearances jumping from 120,590 to 277,440 MT for the ten months spanning July through April.
