MELBOURNE - May 2/16 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A trough over the northeast will gradually weaken today as a high pressure ridge develops across the state. Strong fronts moving across the Southern Ocean are expected to affect Tasmania and Victoria before slipping away to the southern Tasman Sea with only the far southeast of New South Wales affected. Forecast for the rest of MondayShowers and thunderstorms in the northeast. Fine elsewhere. Northwest to northeast winds.Tuesday 3 MaySlight to medium chance of showers in the northeast. Isolated showers over the southwest slopes of the ranges and southern inland border. Areas of morning fog in the northern inland. Fine elsewhere. West to northwest winds, stronger across the south.Wednesday 4 MaySlight to medium chance of showers on the southwest slopes of the ranges and along the south coast. Fine elsewhere.
