Steady Movement Supports Peas
PANAMA - Apr 9/16 - SNS -- Field pea markets were little changed against steady export movement.
Bulk movement through the Canadian primary and terminal elevator system remains well ahead of last year, reflecting the continued commoditization of fields peas among both exporters and importers.
Weekly data from the Canadian Grain Commission suggests the quantity of bulk field peas loaded to vessels or shipped to export markets in railcars March rose sharply from February, jumping from 141,700 to a possible 186,000 metric tons (MT).
