Bulk Lentil Shipments Sink in February
WINNIPEG - Mar 22/16 - SNS -- The Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) reports 13,000 metric tons (MT) lentils were loaded for export through licensed facilities which are required to report to it all grain movement in February.
The CGC data does not include exports in containers or from non-reporting terminals.
The CGC reports 93,000 MT were shipped the same month last year, while movement is down sharply from the 45,000 MT shipped the previous month.
