Mexico Issues Dry Bean Import Quota

MEXICO CITY - Mar 16/16 - SNS -- Market participants report that the Mexican government has issued import quotas for black beans from Argentina and China.

Believed to total 150,000 metric tons (MT), the quotas are said to be valid from April through November.

The country's dry edible bean imports are already improving in the face of below average yields and poor quality caused by weather problems during the growing season.
