France Field Pea Sales Advance in January
PARIS - Mar 10/16 - SNS -- Field pea exports from France posted a solid increase in January, according to data compiled by Terres Univia.
Export shipments during the month totalled 10,005 metric tons (MT), up 66% from the 6,015 MT shipped the previous month, but down 23% from the 13,030 MT shipped the same month last year.
Despite the year over year drop, season to date shipments remain well above last season, jumping from 71,815 to 169,400 MT for the seven months spanning July through January.
