Bulk Lentil Shipments Drop in January
WINNIPEG - Feb 26/16 - SNS -- The Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) reports 45,000 metric tons (MT) lentils were loaded for export through licensed facilities which are required to report to it all grain movement in January.
The CGC data does not include exports in containers or from non-reporting terminals.
The CGC reports 6,700 MT were shipped the same month last year, while movement is down from the 60,200 MT shipped the previous month.
