Selling Pressure Evident in Beans

PANAMA - Feb 12/16 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets finished the week with a slightly weaker undertone as exporters in some origins press for sales.

Even so, the index for U.S. beans was virtually unchanged, gaining 0.2 points to finished the week at 137.8 on modest firmness in colored beans based on demand expectations for Mexico.

Similarly, the world export pulse index gained 0.5 points to finish at 220.7 on the week; while the Canadian index lost 0.9 points to close at 220.2.
