Chickpea Markets Remain Strong
PANAMA - Jan 29/16 - SNS -- Chickpea markets maintained their strong tone through the past week.
Markets remain concerned about crop prospects in Mexico for large caliber kabuli chickpeas.
There are also ongoing worries about desi and kabuli production prospects in India. Total rabi season pulse area is down, but chickpea plantings are thought to be up from last year.
