New Record Highs in Lentils
PANAMA - Jan 22/16 - SNS -- Green lentils continue to establish new record highs in terms of prices paid to farmers in some countries and levels trading on world markets.
Farmers in most countries put more emphasis on growing red than green lentils, contributing to this season's supply crunch.
However, demand played a critical part, with importers in countries like India buying from the bottom up, in terms of price.
