USDA National Grain Review

ST. JOSEPH - Nov 13/15 - SNS -- The USDA issued its latest weekly national grain market review, covering the period through Nov 13.

WEEKLY NATIONAL GRAIN MARKET REVIEW
   Compared to last week, grains traded lower with soybeans closing with slight
gains.  USDA WASDE Report was released on Tuesday indicating that a big crop
“just got bigger” as USDA forecast called for a record soybean harvest of 3.98
bb with a 48.3 bpa average.  Corn production resulted in a forecast for 13.65 bb
for this year’s crop with an 169.3 bpa average with ending stocks at 1.76 bb up
199 mb from last month.  US dollar index remains trading higher pressuring the
grains along with a bearish export showing.  Weekly export sales for corn were
bearish at 25.2 mb (640,600 mt) with 24.4 mb for the 2015-2016 marketing year.
Export sales for soybeans were neutral to bearish at 48.5 mb (1,319,800 mt) with
47.7 mb for the 2015-2016 marketing year. Wheat sales were also bearish at 8.7mb
with 8.3 mb for the 2015-2016 marketing year.  Wheat closed mostly 16-24 cents
lower.  Yellow Corn was mostly 10-17 cents lower with Sorghum trading 4-22 cents
lower.  Soybeans were 2-9 cents higher.
   WHEAT:  Kansas City US No 1 Hard Red Winter, ordinary protein rail bid
was 22 1/4 cents lower from 5.38 3/4-5.48 3/4 per bushel.  Kansas City US No 2
Soft Red winter rail bid was not quoted.  St. Louis truck US No 2 Soft Red
Winter terminal bid was 28 cents lower from 4.23-4.58 per bushel.  Minneapolis
and Duluth US No 1 Dark Northern Spring, 14.0 to 14.5 percent protein rail, was
1 1/4-16 1/4 cents lower at 6.40 1/4 per bushel.  Portland US Soft White wheat
rail traded 20-68 1/2 cents lower from 4.98-5.50 per bushel.
   CORN:  Kansas City US No 2 rail White Corn was 15-16 cents lower from 3.59-
3.64 per bushel.  Kansas City US No 2 truck Yellow Corn was 10 1/2-15 1/2 cents
lower from 3.67-3.72 per bushel.  Omaha US No 2 Yellow Corn was 13-17 cents
lower from 3.39-3.43 per bushel.  Chicago US No 2 Yellow Corn was 12 1/2 cents
lower from 3.54-3.80 per bushel.  Toledo US No 2 rail Yellow corn was 10-10 1/2
cents lower from 3.74-3.76 1/2 per bushel.  Minneapolis US No 2 Yellow corn rail
was 9 1/2 cents lower at 3.33 per bushel.
   OATS AND BARLEY:  US 2 or Better oats, rail bid to arrive at Minneapolis 20
day was 5 1/2 cents higher from 2.40-2.85 per bushel.  US No 3 or better rail
malting Barley, 70 percent or better plump out of Minneapolis was not available
per bushel.  Portland US 2 Barley, unit trains and Barges-export was not
vailable.
   SORGHUM:  US No 2 yellow truck, Kansas City was 4 cents lower at 6.11 per
cwt.  Texas High Plains US No 2 yellow sorghum (prices paid or bid to the
farmer, fob elevator) was 22 cents lower from 5.66-5.84 per cwt.
   OILSEEDS:  Minneapolis Yellow truck soybeans were 2 cents higher at 8.41 per
bushel.  Illinois Processors US No 1 Yellow truck soybeans were 1-2 cents higher
from 8.80-8.83 per bushel.  Kansas City US No 2 Yellow truck soybeans were 9
cents higher at 8.73 per bushel.  Illinois 48 percent Soybean meal, processor
rail bid was 5.00-7.00 lower from 307.40-311.40 per ton.  Central Illinois Crude
Soybean oil processor bid was 39-64 points lower from 25.44-26.44 cents per
ound.
