Beans Finish on Firmer Note

PANAMA - Oct 10/15 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets finished the week's trading on a firmer note, helped by worries about the quantity of large caliber white beans which will be available until next year's harvests in Argentina.

Strength was also noted in colored bean markets against reports Venezuela bought a large parcel of product from Argentina.

The net result is traders flying to attend the Anuga trade fair in Cologne, Germany are confident they will see good demand and rising prices for several categories of dry edible beans.
