Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Aug 4/15 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A weak ridge of high pressure will extend across New South Wales today in the wake of a cold front, leading to a fine day in most areas after a cool start. Fresh winds are expected to return on Wednesday as the next cold front sweeps across the state, bringing a few showers to parts of the southern inland, clearing during Thursday as the system moves away. Generally fine conditions should return at the end of the week as a slow-moving high pressure system drifts across from the west and remains dominant through the weekend.
Forecast for the rest of TuesdaySlight chance of showers along the coastal fringe north of Sydney. A late shower or two about the South West Slopes, possibly falling as snow above 800 metres. Fine and partly cloudy elsewhere. Widespread early frosts inland, particularly about the tablelands.
