Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Aug 3/15 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure ridge will remain over the north of the State, as a front moves over the south later Tuesday or early Wednesday. A high pressure system will develop over the west of the State on Thursday, before moving eastwards to be centred over the eastern states on Friday.
Forecast for the rest of MondayA slight chance of showers over the agricultural area, increasing to a medium to high chance over the southern agricultural area. Cool to cold with light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.Tuesday 4 AugustEarly fog patches in the far west. A slight chance of showers over the agricultural area, more likely near western coasts, increasing to a medium to high chance over the southern agricultural area during the afternoon or evening. Cool to cold with light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds, tending west to northwesterly over the agricultural area after midday.Wednesday 5 AugustEarly fog patches west of about Tarcoola. A slight to medium chance of showers about the agricultural area, south of the Pastoral districts, and the West Coast district, more likely over the southern agricultural area. Showers easing throughout from mid afternoon. Cool with light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds, fresh at times in the south.Thursday 6 AugustEarly fog patches north of about Adelaide, clearing north of Woomera. A slight chance of showers about the southern agricultural area and West Coast district. Cool with light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.Friday 7 August
A slight chance of showers about southern coasts and in the Lower South East. Early fog patches over the Murraylands, and Upper and Lower South East districts. Early frost over and to the east of the Mount Lofty and Flinders ranges, and over Eyre Peninsula. Cool grading to mild in the far west. Light winds turning northeast to northwesterly during the day, fresh at times in the west.
Cumulative rainfall totals until midnight Friday are expected to be 2 to 5 mm over the southern agricultural area, increasing to 5 to 15 mm about the ranges and southern coasts. Less than 2 mm elsewhere.
Saturday until MondayGenerally fine on Saturday. The slight chance of showers extending over the southern agricultural area at times on Sunday and Monday. Cool grading to mild in the west.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CST Tuesday.Product IDS10033
