Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Aug 2/15 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A series of fronts will move across the southeast of the State over the next several days. A high southwest of Western Australia will move slowly eastwards to be over South Australia later in the week.
Forecast for the rest of SundayPatchy light rain clearing from central and eastern districts northeast of Lameroo to Port Augusta this morning. A slight to medium chance of showers about the southern agricultural area and West Coast district , more likely about southern coasts. Cool, grading to mild to warm in the northeast. Moderate to fresh west to southwesterly winds extending throughout during the day, tending fresh to strong about southern coasts.Monday 3 AugustA slight to medium chance of showers about the agricultural area and West Coast district, more likely about the ranges and southern coasts. Cool to cold with light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds, fresh to strong at first about southern coasts.Tuesday 4 AugustA slight to medium chance of showers about the agricultural area and West Coast district, more likely about southern coasts and ranges during the afternoon and evening. Cool with light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.Wednesday 5 August
A slight to medium chance of showers about the agricultural area and West Coast district, more likely about southern coasts and ranges. Cool with light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.
Cumulative rainfall totals until midnight Wednesday are expected to be 2 to 5 mm over the southern agricultural area, increasing to 5 to 10 mm about the ranges and southern coasts. Less than 2 mm elsewhere. Isolated falls of 10 to 20 mm are possible about the Mt Lofty and southern Flinders Ranges.
Thursday until SaturdayA slight chance of showers about southern coasts, gradually contracting to the Lower South East Coast during the period. Generally mild with light winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CST Sunday.Product IDS10033
