Laird Lentil Dealer Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 1/15 - STAT -- Canadian Laird Lentil markets finished the 2014-15 marketing year with prices rocketing 27% above the recent three year average annual price on inter-dealer markets in that country.
The average trading level for Laird Lentil was USD$42.81 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual market value of $33.80 during the previous three year period for machine dressed merchandise packed in bags delivered to Montreal.
Analysis of the monthly price pattern reveals the highest monthly average was $47.05 per cwt in May, while the lowest monthly average trading level was $31.40 per cwt in August.
