U.S. National Weekly Rice Summary

LITTLE ROCK - Jul 20/15 - SNS -- The latest weekly rice market summary for the United States was released by the USDA today.

                 (Arkansas-Louisiana-Texas-California)
                             Domestic Trend
   In the south, long grain milled rice prices mostly steady, however Texas trading
steady to 1.50 lower with the decline off the low side.  Parboiled, Second Heads and
Brewers rice prices steady.  Rice by-products:  Rice Bran and Millfeed prices steady
to weak on limited confirmed spot sales.  Ground hulls not well tested.  As of Jul
19, NASS reporting new crop rice condition as mostly good with AR 30%, LA 85%, MS 54%
and Texas 63% currently headed out.  Louisiana farmers have started harvesting
certain areas however limited to no feedback is currently available.
   In California, medium grain milled rice prices steady to firm.  Second heads and
Brewers rice prices steady to weak.  Rice by-products:  Rice Bran prices weak; ground
hull prices not well tested.  As of Jul 19, NASS reporting California new crop rice
condition as good to excellent with 18% headed out.
   CME Rough Rice settlements for Friday Jul 17th, Sep 15 closed .04 lower at 10.92;
Nov 15 closed .04 lower at 11.19.  US dollar index on Friday settled at 97.96.
