MELBOURNE - Jul 4/15 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A high pressure ridge over New South Wales will weaken during Sunday allowing a weak cold front to move through on Monday and Tuesday. Behind the front another high will move south of Tasmania extending a ridge to the north coast. Another, stronger front is expected to cross the state on Friday. Forecast for the rest of SaturdayMostly clear with some high cloud in the south. Light winds.Sunday 5 JulyWidespread morning frosts inland. Mostly sunny. Light winds tending north to northwesterly in the south.Monday 6 JulySlight chance of showers in the south increasing to medium chance on western slopes of the far southern ranges. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Early frost areas inland. West to northwest winds, fresh in the southeast.Tuesday 7 JulySlight to medium chance of showers over the southeast, increasing to high chance over the southern ranges and the coastal fringes. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Early frosts on the northern slopes and ranges. Light to moderate southwest to southerly winds.Wednesday 8 JulySlight to medium chance of showers east of the ranges. Partly cloudy elsewhere.
