Bearish Undertone in Edible Beans

VANCOUVER - Jun 13/15 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets maintained their recent bearish tone as supplies available from some exporters remains ahead of the short term needs of importers.

This was reflected in the index for U.S. origin pulses, which slipped 0.3 points on the week to finish at 147.9.

Similarly, the world export price index for pulses also posted a modest week over week loss, down 0.3 points at 185. Canada's special crop index also lost 0.3 points to finish the week at 189.
