Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - May 26/15 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A strong high pressure system is moving over the southern Tasman Sea. As the high continue to move further east, a ridge across New South Wales will weaken allowing a series of cold fronts to cross the state later in
the week.
Forecast for the rest of TuesdaySlight chance of rain in the southwest. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Light winds. Dangerous surf conditions.Wednesday 27 MaySlight to medium chance of rain in the southern and central inland. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Light winds tending north to northwesterly in the south. Dangerous surf conditions.Thursday 28 MayPartly cloudy in the far northeast and on the central coast. Slight to medium chance of rain elsewhere increasing to high chance on the western slopes of the southern ranges.. Northwest to northeast winds.Friday 29 MaySlight chance of showers in the far northeast. Medium to high chance of rain elsewhere. Snow showers developing on the Alps above 1400 metres. West to northwest winds ahead of south to southwesterly change.Saturday 30 MaySlight to medium chance of showers on the western slopes of the southern ranges with snow showers above 1400 metres.
