Firm Week In Chickpeas
VANCOUVER - May 22/15 - SNS -- International chickpea markets finished the week's trading on a relatively firm note, with desi type chickpeas leading the complex higher.
Markets in Australia finished the week near the record highs established earlier this month, a clear reflection of the depth of demand the country is seeing from buyers on the Indian subcontinent.
Kabuli chickpea markets showed less price movement, though the undertone is becoming more positive.
