Weaker Tone in Dry Beans

VANCOUVER - Apr 18/15 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets finished the week's trading on an easier note against expectations of large harvests in Argentina and the proximity of new crop product from Egypt.

This was reflected in the spot price index for U.S. origin pulses, which slipped 0.2 points on the week to finish at 150.8.

The world export price index for pulses managed gains on the week, finishing up 0.8 points at 175.7. Canada's special crop index fell 0.8 points to finish the week at 181.8.
