USDA National Grain Review

ST. JOSEPH - Apr 10/15 - SNS -- The USDA issued its latest weekly national grain market review, covering the period through Apr 10.

WEEKLY NATIONAL GRAIN MARKET REVIEW
   Compared to last week, grains closed the week lower as wheat traders remain
focused on weather conditions, moisture is in the forecast for a mojor part of
the winter wheat areas  USDA released its WASDE report on Thursday with all
ending stocks of grain estimates within range of pre-report expectations.  USDA
increased corn ending stocks to 1.827 bb up 50 mb from last month.  Globally
ending stocks for corn came in at 188.46mmt, slightly higher than estimates.
USDA lowered its ending stocks for soybeans by 15 mb to 370 mb.  World ending
stocks were unchanged at 89.53 mmt.  Wheat had some adjustments, resulting in a
t mb decline to ending stocks at 684 mb.  USDA lowered world wheat ending stocks
by 0.05 mmt to 197.21 mmt.  Corn had weekly export sales of 27.7 mb, with 25.2
mb for 2014-2015 marketing year.  Soybeans had weekly export sales of 12 mb,
with cancellations of 6.5 mb for 2014-2015 marketing year.  Wheat had weekly
export sales of 13.1 mb with 11.8 mb foe 2014-2015 marketing year.  Wheat closed
10-56 cents lower.  Corn traded 3-9 cents lower with sorghum 15-16 cents lower.
Soybeans closed 29-35 cents lower.
   WHEAT:  Kansas City US No 1 Hard Red Winter, ordinary protein rail bid was 41
1/4 to 46 1/4 cents lower from 6.36 1/2-6.46 1/2 per bushel.  Kansas City US No
2 Soft Red winter rail bid was not quoted.  St. Louis truck US No 2 Soft Red
Winter terminal bid was 10 cents lower at 5.26 per bushel.  Minneapolis and
Duluth US No 1 Dark Northern Spring, 14.0 to 14.5 percent protein rail, was 26
1/2 to 56 1/2 cents lower at 7.49 per bushel.  Portland US Soft White wheat rail
was 17 1/2 to 76 1/4 cents lower from 6.00-6.58 3/4 per bushel.
   CORN:  Kansas City US No 2 rail White Corn was 3 to 9 cents lower from 3.85-
3.90 per bushel.  Kansas City US No 2 truck Yellow Corn was 8 1/2 cents lower at
3.78 per bushel.  Omaha corn was 9 cents lower from 3.71-3.76 per bushel.
Chicago US No 2 Yellow Corn was 3 1/2 to 8 1/2 cents lower from 3.65-3.86 per
bushel.  Toledo US No 2 rail Yellow corn was 3 1/2 to 8 1/2 cents lower from
3.71-3.77 per bushel.  Minneapolis US No 2 Yellow corn rail was 1 1/2 cents
lower at 3.60 per bushel.
   OATS AND BARLEY:  US 2 or Better oats, rail bid to arrive at Minneapolis 20
day was steady from 2.84-3.24 per bushel.  US No 3 or better rail malting
Barley, 70 percent or better plump out of Minneapolis was not available per
bushel.  Portland US 2 Barley, unit trains and Barges-export was not available.
   SORGHUM:  US No 2 yellow truck, Kansas City was 15 cents lower at 8.00 per
cwt.  Texas High Plains US No 2 yellow sorghum (prices paid or bid to the
farmer, fob elevator) was 15-16 cents lower from 7.02-7.44 per bushel.
   OILSEEDS:  Minneapolis Yellow truck soybeans were 35 1/2 cents lower at 9.36
1/2 per bushel.  Illinois Processors US No 1 Yellow truck soybeans were 29 1/2
to 30 1/2 cents lower from 9.65 1/2-9.73 1/2 per bushel.  Kansas City US No 2
Yellow truck soybeans were 30 1/2 cents lower at 9.73 1/2 per bushel.  Illinois
48 percent Soybean meal, processor rail bid was 16.20 to 22.20 lower from
327.10-337.10 per ton.  Central Illinois Crude Soybean oil processor bid was 45
points lower from 30.09-30.84 cents per pound.
