Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 29/15 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure ridge extends across Victoria to New South Wales will drift slowly eastwards during Monday to be located over the Tasman Sea by Tuesday. A cold front will cross waters south of the Bight later Tuesday before extending across western and central Victoria on Wednesday, then clear the far northeast early Thursday. The next high pressure system will move from south of the Bight to cross Tasmania Thursday night.
Forecast for the rest of SundayPatchy high cloud across parts of the north, clear in the south. A cool evening with generally light winds and coastal seabreezes.Monday 30 MarchAreas of morning fog patches in the south, otherwise a fine and mainly sunny day. Mild to warm with light winds and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Fire Danger -  Generally low to moderate.Tuesday 31 MarchMorning fog patches, mainly in the south. A fine and mainly sunny day. Warm with light northerly winds and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Wednesday 1 AprilScattered showers developing from the southwest late morning and extending across the northwest and over central areas during the afternoon and evening. Showers tending more isolated in the north. Warm with moderate to fresh north to northwesterly winds, shifting cooler west to southwesterly over western and central areas during the afternoon or evening.Thursday 2 AprilPartly cloudy with isolated showers contract east and north during the day. Mild in the south, warmer in the north. Moderate south to southeast winds, fresh at times about the coast.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:00 am EDT Monday.Product IDV10310
