MELBOURNE - Mar 28/15 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A high over Victoria will move eastwards with a high pressure ridge remaining over South Australia for the next few days. A trough will move over western and southern parts of the State on Wednesday. Forecast for the rest of SundayPossible early morning fog patches over the Lower South East, otherwise fine and partly cloudy. Mild to warm in the south grading to warm to hot in the north and west. Mainly light winds tending moderate northwesterly about the Lower South East coast.Monday 30 MarchPossible early fog patches about the southern agricultural area and the west Coast district west of Fowlers Bay. Mild to warm in the south, grading to warm to hot in the north and west. Mainly light winds.Tuesday 31 MarchPossible morning fog patches over the Lower South East, otherwise fine. High cloud in the west and south. Mild to warm in the southeast grading to warm to hot elsewhere. Light to moderate southeast to northeast winds increasing to moderate northerly in the west.Wednesday 1 April The chance of showers developing in the west and south, more likely about western coasts, Kangaroo Island, Fleurieu Peninsula and the Lower South East district. Generally warm to hot with light to moderate northeasterly winds, freshening in the west during the morning ahead of a milder southerly change. Winds becoming east to southeasterly throughout by late evening. Cumulative rainfall totals until midnight Wednesday are expected to be less than 2 mm, with isolated falls of 2 to 5 mm possible about western coasts and the Lower South East coast, mostly occurring on Wednesday. Thursday until SaturdayThe chance of showers south of about Broken Hill to Coober Pedy. Mild to warm in the south grading to hot in the north, becoming cooler throughout during the period.
