Little Change in Lentil Market
VANCOUVER - Mar 27/15 - SNS -- North American lentil markets were little changed against ongoing inquiry and tightening stocks.
The pace of bulk export movement has slowed in Canada along with deliveries by growers into the primary handling system.
Grower bids remain strong. Compared to new crop, substantial premiums are still being paid to farmers for old crop product. Markets are clearly telling farmers to finish the season with empty bins.
