MELBOURNE - Mar 5/15 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A high pressure system south of WA is extending a ridge into New South Wales in the wake of a cold front, pushing a drier airmass across the region. Weaker cold fronts are expected to pass to the south during Friday and Saturday, but should have little impact on the state's weather. During the weekend a high is expected to become established over the Tasman Sea while a trough lingers over northeast New South Wales.
