MELBOURNE - Mar 5/15 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A middle-level cloud band will persist over the west of the State until Sunday. A high south of WA will extend a ridge of high pressure over the State during Friday and the weekend. A cold front will move over the southeast of the State early on Monday. Forecast for the rest of FridayThe chance of patchy light rain over the far west. The slight chance of showers about southern coasts, most likely about the Lower South East Coast. Fine elsewhere. Cool to mild in the south, warm in the north. Light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.Saturday 7 MarchThe chance of patchy light rain over the far northwest. The slight chance of showers about southern coasts. Cool to mild in the south, warm to hot in the north. Light to moderate west to southwesterly winds, tending southerly in the west and north.Sunday 8 MarchThe chance of morning showers about southern coasts, fine elsewhere. Mild in the south, warm to hot in the north. Light to moderate northwest to southwesterly winds.Monday 9 March Showers extending over the southern agricultural area and West Coast district, then clearing by late evening. Mild in the south, warm to hot in the north. Moderate south to southwesterly winds. Cumulative rainfall totals until midnight Monday are expected to be generally less than 2 mm, with possible falls of 2 to 5 mm about southern coasts and ranges. Tuesday until ThursdaySlight chance of morning showers about the far west coast on Tuesday, then showers developing about the Lower South East and southern Kangaroo Island on Wednesday, extending to western coasts on Thursday. Fine elsewhere. Cool to mild in the south, warm to hot in the north.
