Weakening Tone in Bean Export Market
VANCOUVER - Feb 13/15 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets finished the weeks trading on a mixed note, with North American domestic markets holding firm despite easing export values.
The coming week will be quiet, with most traders in the United States away from their desks Monday and markets in Latin America closed until Wednesday for Carnival.
Medium and large white beans ended the week on a easier note against the availability of distressed cargoes in the Mediterranean and more aggressive pricing by Argentine exporters.
