Little Impact From Australian Crop
VANCOUVER - Feb 13/15 - SNS -- International lentil markets finished the week mostly unchanged, unaffected by the increase in the estimated size of Australia's 2014 harvest.
Though production is up from earlier estimates, at 255,000 metric tons (MT), it remains well below last year's 299,400 MT crop.
While opening season exports are down from last year, demand is expected to be strong through the first half of 2015.
