Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jan 30/15 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high south of Western Australia combined with a deep low in the Tasman Sea, are directing a southeasterly airstream over South Australia which will continue into late next week.
Forecast for the rest of FridayFine apart from the slight chance of light showers about the south of the Lower South East coast this evening. Mild in the south grading to warm to hot in the north and west. Moderate south to southeast winds, fresh near the coasts.Saturday 31 JanuaryFine apart from the slight chance of light showers about southern coasts. Mild to warm over the agricultural area, grading to warm to hot in the north. Moderate south to southeasterly winds, fresh at times near the coasts and southern ranges.Sunday 1 FebruaryFine apart from the slight chance of showers about the southern coasts and the far west coast. Mild to warm over the agricultural area, grading to warm to hot in the north. Moderate south to southeasterly winds, fresh at times near the coasts and southern ranges.Monday 2 February

Cumulative rainfall totals until midnight Monday are expected to be less than 1 mm near southern coasts.
Tuesday 3 February
Fine apart from the slight chance of a shower over the Lower South East south of Mount Gambier. Mild to warm over the agricultural area grading to warm to hot in the north. Moderate south to southeast winds, fresh about the coasts and southern ranges.
Cumulative rainfall totals until midnight Tuesday are expected to be less than 2 mm near southern coasts.
Wednesday until FridayA slight chance of a shower over the Lower South East south of Mount Gambier on Wednesday. Fine Thursday. Becoming hot throughout on Friday with a chance of showers in the northeast interior.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CDT Saturday.Product IDS10033
