Mixed Week For Dry Beans
VANCOUVER - Jan 11/15 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets finished the week on a mixed note against relatively good trading interest.
This saw prices for large caliber white beans deteriorate against increased competition among sellers, while colored beans advanced against improved buying interest.
This was reflected in the spot price index for U.S. origin pulses, which gained 4.84 points to finish at 149.4 on strength in pinto and black beans.
