Lentils Hold Firm Before Crop Reports
VANCOUVER - Nov 28/14 - SNS -- Lentil markets maintained their relatively firm tone through the past week against solid export movement from Canada and slowing grower sales.
Markets are also eager to see the contents of next week's crop reports from Australia and Canada.
Of the two, the Statistics Canada's final production estimates for 2014 is the most critical for lentil markets. Australian red lentil production is strategically important in some markets, but dwarfed by Canadian output.
