Colored and White Beans Diverge

VANCOUVER - Nov 8/14 - SNS -- The world's dry edible bean markets finished the week on a mixed note despite a general improvement in demand.

This was reflected in the fact the spot market index for U.S. beans was unchanged at 138.08 points, while the world export pulse index inched up 0.3 points to 162.4 on the week.

White bean markets finished trading on an easier note against ongoing sales of white alubia beans from Argentina.
