Poor Quality Bulls Lentils
VANCOUVER - Sep 21/14 - SNS -- International lentil markets maintained their bullish tone through the past week, fueled by confirmation that Canada was probably looking at an FAQ No 3 grade crop.
However, with half the crop remaining to be harvested after the yield report was prepared, there is a significant risk the fair average quality could fall further.
Unusually hot days during the past week have been drying out soils, but there was so much moisture many farmers are reporting fog at the start of the day.
