Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Sep 20/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system centred just to the southwest of Victoria will drift slowly northeastwards across Bass Strait and southern Victoria Sunday and will be centred just off the NSW coast on Monday. The high then move across the Tasman Sea on Tuesday and Wednesday as a low pressure trough crossing South Australia approaches northwest Victoria.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayFine apart from isolated showers over Gippsland. Light to moderate southerly winds.Sunday 21 SeptemberFine apart from early morning fog patches. Areas of cloud in the south contracting to Gippsland during the afternoon. Sunny over the north. Early frosts inland, then a cool to mild day with light winds and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Monday 22 SeptemberEarly morning fog and frost patches inland. A sunny, mild to warm day with light north to northeasterly winds and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Tuesday 23 SeptemberEarly morning fog and frost patches in the east. A sunny, mild to warm day with light to moderate north to northeasterly winds and afternoon seabreezes along the Gippsland coast.Wednesday 24 SeptemberCloud increasing from the west with isolated showers extending to most districts, but dry over the far southeast. A mild to warm day with light to moderate northeast to northerly winds and afternoon seabreezes along the Gippsland coast.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:00 am EST Sunday.Product IDV10310
