United States Small Green Lentil Grower Price Review
VANCOUVER - Sep 9/14 - STAT -- United States Small Green Lentil markets finished the 2013-14 marketing year with prices offered to growers falling 19% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Small Green Lentil was USD$21.34 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $26.32 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $27.60 per cwt in September, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $19.00 per cwt in March.
