7mm Kabuli Chickpea Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 2/14 - STAT -- Canadian 7mm Kabuli Chickpea markets finished the 2013-14 marketing year with prices offered to growers falling 27% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for 7mm Kabuli Chickpea was CDN$375.20 per metric ton (MT), compared to an average annual bid of $513.91 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $456.38 per MT in August, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $308.60 per MT in February.
