VANCOUVER - Aug 1/14 - STAT -- Canadian Red Lentil markets finished the 2013-14 marketing year with prices inching % above the recent three year average annual price on inter-dealer markets in that country.
The average trading level for Red Lentil was USD$28.79 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual market value of $28.72 during the previous three year period for machine dressed merchandise packed in bags delivered to Montreal.
Analysis of the monthly price pattern reveals the highest monthly average was $34.25 per cwt in June, while the lowest monthly average trading level was $25.75 per cwt in January.
