Extra 3 Richlea Lentil Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 1/14 - STAT -- Canadian Extra 3 Richlea Lentil markets finished the 2013-14 marketing year with prices offered to growers falling 8% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Extra 3 Richlea Lentil was CDN$15.00 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $16.28 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $16.75 per cwt in November, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $13.70 per cwt in March.
