Holiday Shortened Week In Lentils
VANCOUVER - Jul 4/14 - SNS -- North American lentil markets finished the week's trading nominally unchanged in seasonally light trading interest.
Market participation was also affected because Canada celebrated its national holiday on July 1, while the United States was closed for a long, July 4 weekend.
The USDA's seeded area estimates did not cover lentils. However, prior to last year, the July crop report typically included estimates for lentil seedings.
